Earlier today, numerous gameplay clips from what appears to be a WIP build of Grand Theft Auto 6 have been leaked online. ![]() Rockstar has long faced intense criticism around its company culture and reliance on crunch - things came to a head in 2018 when Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser, who left the company in 2020, said employees had worked "100-hour weeks" to finish Red Dead Redemption 2 - but Bloomberg's report claimed the studio has been working to improve its culture in recent times, having implemented the likes of a new flexitime policy to immediately gain back extra time spent working, a narrowed gender pay gap, and the hiring of additional producers to ensure workloads are better managed.Over the weekend, Rockstar faced a massive leak that saw numerous screenshots and videos taken from GTA 6's development show up online with missing assets and features. It’s the most highly-anticipated video gameprobably everbecause it’s been 10 years since the previous iteration. Rockstar finally confirmed development on GTA 6 was "well underway" earlier this year, and while official details remain extremely limited, a report by Bloomberg's Jason Schreier in June shared a number of tantalising details about the project, claiming it'll be set in Miami and will feature the series' first female protagonist as part of a Bonny and Clyde-style duo – two things seemingly backed up by today's leaks. If real – and right now, the consensus is that it is – it seems to back-up prior claims that the game's set in Vice City and features a female protagonist: a first for the franchise. At the last minute before the official trailer is due to lunch, an unlikely source leaked footage from GTA 6 on TikTok. Whilst, naturally, the unfinished game has missing assets and features, the videos give a rudimentary peek at the protagonists, the open world, and even the shooter's combat, totalling over seven minutes' worth of unsanctioned footage. Whilst there's no way of authenticating them, the initially hostile response on the GTA Forums eventually softened as posters began to believe that the leaked assets were genuine. Rockstar’s next installment in its Grand Theft Auto series could be one of the most anticipated video games in existence, and a new purported leak could offer us our best look yet at GTA 6. 1:30 Map, Release, Setting, Gameplay und. ![]() In this guide we’ve shown you how to use the 1.8 TFT display with the Arduino: display text, draw shapes and display images. However, we are sure these instructions work, because we’ve tested them. In fact, we tested a couple of times and it worked well, and then, when we were about to record to show you the final result, the display didn’t recognized the SD card anymore – we’re not sure if it’s a problem with the SD card holder that doesn’t establish a proper connection with the SD card. Note: some people find issues with this display when trying to read from the SD card. Logo = TFTscreen.loadImage(" arduino.bmp") Replace the “ arduino.bmp” with the name of your image: // now that the SD card can be access, try to load the image file bmp format.Ĥ) Copy the image to the SD card and insert it on the SD card slot at the back of the display.ĥ) Wire the SD card pins to the Arduino by following the table below: SD card on TFT displayīoth the display and the SD card work with SPI communication, so you’ll have pins on the Arduino with two connections.Ħ) In the Arduino IDE go to File > Examples > TFT > Arduino > TFTBitmaLogo.ħ) Edit the code, so that it searches for your image. To do that, you can use a photo editing software and save the image as. There are four pins opposite to the display pins, as shown in figure below.Ģ) The display can load images bigger or smaller than the display size (160 x 128 px), but for better results, edit your image size to 160 x 128 px.ģ) The image should be in. Follow the next steps to display an image on the display:ġ) Solder header pins for the SD card. To read from the SD card you use the SD library, already included in the Arduino IDE software. The 1.8 TFT display can load images from the SD card. Here’s the shapes on the display: Display images wait 200 miliseconds until change to next figure Every time the code goes through the loop, the shapes change color. The following example displays several shapes. ![]() circle(x, y, radius) – draws a circle with center at (x, y) with the specified radius rect(xStart, yStart, width, height) – draws a rectangle with the top left corner at (xStart, yStart) with the defined width and height line(xStart, yStart, 圎nd, yEnd) – draws a line that starts at (xStart, yStart) and ends at (圎nd, yEnd) point(x, y) – display a point at the (x, y) coordinate The TFT library provides useful functions to draw shapes on the display: Here’s your “Hello, World!” text on the 1.8 TFT display. wait 200 miliseconds until change to next color print Hello, World! in the middle of the screen TFTscreen.stroke(redRandom, greenRandom, blueRandom) clear the screen with a black background The following example displays “Hello, World!” in the middle of the screen and changes the font color every 200 miliseconds.Ĭopy the following code to your Arduino IDE and upload it to your Arduino board. Note: different Arduino boards have different SPI pins. The table below shows the 1.8 TFT wiring to Arduino UNO. You can use the preceding links or go directly to /tools to find all the parts for your projects at the best price! You can get the 1.8 TFT display for approximately $3 – check prices on Maker Advisor. To control the display we’ll use the TFT library, which is already included with Arduino IDE 1.0.5 and later. This module uses SPI communication – see the wiring below. The following figure shows the screen front and back view. The display can load images from an SD card – it has an SD card slot at the back. The 1.8 TFT is a colorful display with 128 x 160 color pixels. You’ll learn how to wire the display, write text, draw shapes and display images on the screen. In this guide we’re going to show you how you can use the 1.8 TFT display with the Arduino. ![]() ![]() Here’s a great sample essay written for Colgate that would work well for this prompt:Īside from my inherent love for bagels, my Jewish background has led me to become more embedded in my community, joining Jewish activists and building a website on Holocaust education.
